How can I set a value for "WPFControlAutomationId" for automation purposes?

We need to set value for WPFControlAutomationId field in order to automate some basic testing activities using a third party tool.

We are trying to automate enquiry testing using "TestComplete" tool from smartbear. There are two types of enquiries general, and course. In the console both the workspace show almost similar fields. The tool needs to identify same field, e.g. contact, differently from both workspaces. If we can, somehow, set the above mentioned WPFControlAutomationId field the issue may be resolved.
