Summary

When PBCS sends approval notifications to the users for their action and updates, time stamp in the email is not as per the time zone set by the user in User Preference rather it is based on GMT.

Content

I noticed this particular issue during the approval process. When the system sent automated mail to the user to give an update about approvals, the time stamp in the mail was not matching with the time zone set by the user in User Preference. The system uses GMT as default for time stamp in approval process emails. With proper time stamp in emails, users can track the exact time of submission of a particular task or scenario or module. The incorrect timestamp may even create confusion and misunderstanding in budgeting teams.

Howdy, Stranger!
