Export data in excel format

Need to export incidents and related tables to an external system

Hi all,

I hope one of you have exported  incidents and associated objects to an external database/warehouse or file folder.  We are just starting to figure out how and what is the best way to do that.  We need to do a one time bulk export first and then do a weekly delta.  We are thinking on using analytics to create the reports weekly and create the excel file to then copy it to an external file sever.  Does anyone have suggestions, how can we get this done through REST APIs?
