In this article, we will explore the implementation of a simple screen pop extension with the Agent Browser UI extensibility framework for Oracle B2C Service. This will walk through a BUI extension to lookup Contact records with a phone number in Oracle B2C Service Browser UI.


Using screen pop, you can open, or "pop" a report or an editor as a new tab on the service console by sending a request from a third-party. When you pop an editor, you can view and edit records. When you pop a report, you can pass runtime filter values to the report to display specific records in the report.
