WS rules doesn't execute after firing a named event from BUI extension

Hi,

I have an extension placed inside an agent script in Page 1. The extension would show a modal window on button click and once the agent clicks on submit in modal window, a named event is being fired. However we noticed that after firing this named event and moving on to page 2 where another button click would save the incident record, the WS rules no longer work. I see the error (attached) in browser console.

If we do not fire the named event from BUI extension, then it works fine. It will save the incident record immediately on button click.
