Use case Scenario:

Search across various object(Incident, Contact, Asset etc) using single search box.

Context:​

This post is targeted for extension developers who are looking for reference to implement status bar extension and also looking of usage of executing report using Connect REST API within extension script.

This extension is built with an intension to have a search box for agents to search across all object like incident ,contact etc based on which this extension is configured.

Installing the extension:

The steps are as follows.

   1.      Create new Agent Browser UI Extension from the Add-in manager

   2.       Download the extension "SmartSearchExtension.zip" folder and name the extension as     SmartSearchExtension
