Using surveys to gain user feedback

Hi,

Has anyone used Surveys as a way to contact users of the system (accounts table) to see if they still need access and to ask for feedback as to ways the application could be improved?

I've looked at trying to create a segment that would broadcast the survey to the users in the accounts table but it creates a join to the Contacts objects.
