Returning derived properties through a Node data type property association

Summary

Through a Node data type property it is possible to return node level properties that a defined from against the associated node selected but not derived, which is very restrictive

Content

In release 21.07 the feature " ADDITIONAL FIELDS FOR NODE DATA TYPE PROPERTIES IN EXPRESSIONS" was released but restricted to node level properties that are defined only.
Standard development practice sees us aim to derive all possible properties to reduce maintenance and likelihood of human error.
There is also a general great need to associate dimensions through properties.

This restriction is forcing users to use associate cross dimension but maintain more properties than required. This is especially cumbersome if returning information related to ancestry or descendants as often is the case, as it means manually typing in node names and then building custom validations to ensure it has been done correctly.

Howdy, Stranger!
