HTML component on BUI

We have a requirement to show a dropdown field on BUI for which values will be dynamically be populated via javascript. We are able to fetch dynamic values and store them in an array, but we are struggling to add these values to HTML drop-down input field and show it on the BUI. We thought maybe there is some issue with javascript, so we removed the javascript and kept only the HTML part with static values for drop-down, the component was still not visible. We even tried adding an input text field and a paragraph tag but the component is
