Can Data Management Integration Job Type REST API execute a Direct Load integration rule?

The Direct Load Integration rules require parameters different from what the Integration Job Type REST API call is asking for

We have a multi-period Data Integration rule that loads from SQL using the EPM Integration Agent. The Period (Mon-YY) is mapped to one of the table fields, and due to this, on execution, the rule does not prompt for period POV. But it does prompt for "Mode", instead of "importMode"/"exportMode". Screenshot attached. This works great when executed via the web UI.
