Wrong depreciation where Asset Units is a large number

Hi,

I am using the standard capital planning model.

When I create an asset:

Asset Units: 50
Asset Value: 1000
Salvage Value: 100

The basic cost gets calculated as 50,000 and depreciation is calculated for (50,000 - 100). The salvage value is per unit and it should have been (50,000 - 5,000). When I put in 5,000 as the salvage value, the rule stops me as the salvage value is greater than asset value.

Any help regarding this would be appreciated.

Regards,

Shehzad
