Quick Start Guide for Typescript for Extensibility Framework

Hi everybody,

I've been researching for resources and guides towards the development of add-ins using Typescript, and I couldn't find much in the forum nor in the documentation. I'd greatly appreciate a simple hello world example with the basics on how you get a typescript add-in up in the add-in manager. Are we supposed to transpile the code locally and then upload the resulting .js files, or can we upload the .ts files directly?

I'm also not entirely sure what is the typescript reference file
