Has anyone had luck with the widget that adds a question from the community to your notifications?

Content (required):

I am able to add them but I don't get email notifications. I believe this widget to be the culprit.

If it helps, I know there is a config setting that enables/disables email for answer notifications but not questions, even though they seem to function the same.
