What happens after a broken promise is finally paid?

Summary:

I would have the following scenario:

I received a promise for payment up to 30 April 2022 but the customer paid on the 10th of May 2022

How would it be recorded in Oracle? Would the broken promise disappear? Can we have a track of the dates when the broken promises were fulfilled (we received the money)?
