Summary: We see it is possible to do data movement inside the instance with Quick Mode, but is it possible to use ASO cubes? Has anyone tried it?

Content (required):

We tested BSO to BSO data movement successfully (even though the Data Integration UI seemed not to allow it). But when trying to do ASO to BSO or BSO to ASO it's not possible (with same UI workaround).

We believe:

  • UI is not fully accepting this cube to cube data movement.
  • ASO Quick Mode data export to a file works fine, so export functionality for ASO exists.
  • There is no documentation for these case. Only for the export to file.
