How to create New Shared hierarchy without consolidating all Periods

Hi,

We have requirement to Create New shared hierarchy which include all the legal entity.

But when I tried creating Hierarchy Data at base entity comes up but Opening balance data does not rollup. to new parent members.

is there any way to create the alternate hierarchy without consolidating all the historical periods?

we have 3 years of historical data and rules have been changed multiple times during the course.
