OSMS Agent Error Plugin OS Management Service Agent not present for instance & No OS management info

SYMPTOMS

The Oracle Cloud Agent tab indicates that the OS Management Service Agent plugin is enabled for the instance. However, the status for these instances indicates that the plugin is "Not Supported" with the message that "Plugin OS Management Service Agent not present for instance."

Also, the OS Management Resource tab shows error message “No OS management information is available for this resource. Enable OS management to see more information.”

 

SOLUTION

1.      Make sure you are using a supported Image. See Supported Images
