Content (required):

We recently made some changes in our balance sheet chart of accounts structure to place 'revaluation reserves' as a direct child member of 'Total Equity'. Previously Revaluation Reserves was a child member of 'FCCS_Other Reserves' .

So in summary our old COA structure was:

And is now

Before the change, the revaluation reserve was being included in the MI calculation but since we've moved it outside of FCCS_Other Reserves, the MI calculation is excluding the revaluation reserve when computing the %age of minority interest.

My question is, will this change in account structure require a custom amendment to the MI calculation rule so that it includes the revaluation reserve as part of the MI calculation or is there an attribute set on the account somewhere that flags the accounts that need to be included in the MI calculation? None of the accounts have UDA or custom attributes set on them.

Howdy, Stranger!
