Time Balance for ASO Flow Account with Balance Members in Formula

Cash flow accounts with member formulas using balance accounts do not show flow in period rollups in ASO only.

Created cash flow accounts which use movements (a different dimension) of balance accounts. because the balance accounts have a time balance property different than the flow property of the cash flow accounts, the quarter and year total roll-ups are wrong. It appears that the ASO is rolling up the component accounts before doing the member formula, so the quarter numbers are wrong. Have tried a wide variety of solve orders and dimension order without any luck. Is this a known limitation? Anyone solved this issue? (Note that BSO is working perfectly.)
