OCI: OS Management Not Showing Any Available Updates For a Windows Instance

Symptoms

In OCI, regarding a Microsoft Windows Instance, the OSMS Web Interface does not show any available update.

Cause

The OSMS Web Interface relies on the capability of the OCAOSMS Service User that exists within the Windows Instance to be able to reach Microsoft Update servers.

That is, if the Microsoft Windows Update application is unable to reach Microsoft Update servers, then, OSMS will be unable to report the existence of any update to your Microsoft Windows instance.

The above causes the OSMS Web Interface to show the below:
