Oracle Learning series: 10 - Overview of the background process changes
Introduction
The new set of background processes support the creation and reconciliation of required and voluntary learning initiatives, recommendation initiatives, and access groups by evaluating the member criteria. They then create or withdraw learners depending on the intended audiences and automatically generates child processes to handle the necessary work.
They perform the evaluation and reconciliation tasks via a single scheduled process and provide additional configuration options providing more control on thread utilization on an environment, helping you manage system load more effectively, and optimize performance:
- Process Learning Records replaces Reconcile Dynamic Assignments
- Process User Access replaces Reconcile Access Groups
- Process Learning Recommendations is a new background process.
