Can we use MatchType adjusment/supporting attributes in format rules?

Can attributes created for supporting or adjustments items in MatchTypes be used in a format or profile (Account Analysis with TM or Balance Comparison with TM) rule?

For instance, we want to prevent reconciliation submission if a supporting attribute is left blank.
