Parse fusion API responses to ensure only distinct records are shown

We want to pass individual segments as parameters as linked drop-down and show users only distinct GL combinations. We want to understand how can we achieve this where the user selects segment 1 and all valid distinct segment 2 are provided in the second dropdown
