Redwood Theme and guidance or best practices on when should we look to enable / implement

Summary:

We are going through a major Transformation project and are bringing the entire Finance modules in to cloud from our On-prem eBS along with Payroll, Absences and Time and Labor Modules.

We are trying to evaluate redwood theme and understand when would it be ideal for us to enable the theme and move to Redwood Theme. Is there any mandatory push on any future release from Oracle to move all its clients to Redwood Theme?
