We have following scenario wherein we need to capture contract data by Amendment.

 

Each contract is a Entity (Business Unit) in JDE which has contract master data. Each entity in JDE is an budgeting entity in hyperion. Now assume for Entity1 the ContractNumber is 12345.

Now if there is an Amendment to this contract they will capture it as 12345.1

In hyperion we need Total Contract Value expected by month (in budget period) so that we need not have Amendments captured separately as they play no role in budgeting cycle.
