Addin for versioning Answers

Hi all,

I want to create Addin that can be helpful with versioning answers. My idea is to have an add in on the Answer Worspace, which (after click) will create a new Answer and open workspace for it.
Then after editing the question/solution on second Answer I want to rewrite the fields to original Answer and stash the previous version in Custom Object as a Child of Answer.

Howewer I have no idea how to develop an Addin for dwo different workspaces. Can you please help?
