Howto assign ID to any widget?

I want to assign ID to my widget for example:

<rn:widget path="input/ProductCatalogInput" name="MyAsset.MyProductList" required_lvl="2" label_input=" " id="My_New_ID" />

Even though I assign ID, when I inspect the widget in browser, the ID is totally different.
