Construction of the request syntax and base object and table mapping with SOAP

Summary:

We want to use the Oracle Service Cloud (OSC) SOAP API to query for multiple records and receive a response with the needed fields. In addition to syntax, I need to understand the base object and table mapping to target the fields of interest.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

  • Using the OSC SOAP API has had moderate success in that multiple, valued records can be requested and returned, however they are limited in the fields and values returned.
  • Number of fields returned is less than expected for a top level request
  • Returned fields often contain a code instead of a display value

Howdy, Stranger!
