Grab Workspace Record ID, and show popup with Contact Information

I have been toying around with the AddIn Samples provided by Oracle and using the WorkspaceUpdate sample specifically to try and grab a Contacts Information and have that information popup in a message box on the screen. I am still a novice so I don't doubt I am missing something obvious, but any help is very much appreciated. The error that I am getting is in the RightNow interface when I try to add the AddIn control to the workspace as it prompts "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". I am also not opposed to someone
