GetFrameworkElement & WorkspaceConfigProperty

On the legacy console there has been an issue that the workspace looked for any WorkspaceConfigProperty in the control that was returned by GetControl instead of just looking at the IWorkspaceComponent2 class. This is nicely described by CXDev here.

First of all this seems to have been fixed as when I return seperate control the WorkspaceConfigProperties are nicely set in my IWorkspaceComponent2 class. Is this correct and where could I have seen this was fixed?

On to the actual issue, when I return a WPF control in GetFrameworkElement, the same issue arrises. The WorkspaceConfigProperties are not set. This is even more terrible as before as I nicely build my addin using MVVM and I just return the View. Am I missing something that I should implement to get the Config properties set on my IWorkspaceComponent2 class?

Howdy, Stranger!
