KeywordText widget > Error: No search filters have been defined for report

Hi everyone,

We are currently migrating from CP2 to CP3 and going through the widget transition process.

We have a custom KeywordText widget, which does not appear to be functioning in CP3. To break it down to the bare bones to troubleshoot, I created a new widget where I selected the "override the view" option; however, I copied all the standard widget view and js data in the new widget files.

So essentially I created a new widget of the standard widget (with no changes whatsoever to view.php nor js files).

When the widget is fired, I'm getting this error:
