I am looking to create a navigation item that would access data related to a custom object. I have previously created add-ins that access data based on the existing open workspace, but in this case there is no workspace involved. Anyone got any suggestions on where to get started? Haven't been able to find anything in documentation or forums yet. Just looking for some fingers to point me in the right direction or sample code. Working with C# primarily.
