I'm dealing with an unusual situation where a customer wants to pop a survey at the conclusion of a chat, and have the survey results tied back to the chat and agent for coaching/monitoring/attaboy purposes. This is a trivially easy thing to do with a chat rule when using Customer Portal. My difficulty is that my customer isn't using Customer Portal - they're writing a stand-alone custom chat client using the Custom Interface Chat API.

We can get the survey URL from the survey editor - it looks something like this -
