Packing Unit must be unique Error

Summary:

The issued item was transferred against Transfer Order from Child Company 1 to Child Company 2 in OCWMS (Shipped out from company 1 against an LPN and received at Company 2 with the same LPN). Now from company 2 the item has to be shipped to customer against sales order. So from Company 2 the item is supposed to be shipped to customer against same LPN (as the item is already enclose in it).


While shipping it to customer we are facing difficulty as delivery is not getting generated with the error message "The packing unit must be unique". Ideally system should generate the delivery order as material is shipped to customer against Sales Order, but system says against this packing unit this material is already transferred against a Delivery Order of Transfer Order. Hence same Packing unit cannot be used for shipping it to customer.
