Ability to Provide Access to Individual Items within a Permissions Set\Option

Any way to provide access (within a profile) to the individual items, within a permissions set and its options? Example - Within the Administration set there is the Business Process Settings option. Selecting the Business Process Settings option provides access to several items (Navigation Sets, Customizable Menus, Products/Categories/Dispositions...), but no way to see/select those items individually. Any other way or ideas as to how to provide access to those items individually, say, I want to provide only Products/Categories/Dispositions editing access? Upcoming version maybe?
