Set value in product category widget dynamically

Hi All,

I have a customized selection input widget. On changing the value in drop down, an ajax call fetches product id (id of the last child level) from the database.

Based on the fetched product id , i need to set the product (till last child level) in product category widget.

Could anyone help me in setting this value in product category widget dynamically?
