Select single does not filter as we type VBCS

Hi ,

I am using a REST API that is getting data from OIC . I have mapped the data to select single component. Filter does not work as in when we type . Can someone please help. Our endpoint does not support query parameter.

I have tried the below blog and it does not help.

Filtering SingleSelect Values as You Type.
