In this thread TLS 1.0 Announcement - Informing Your End Users We inserted code to detect if a browsers TLS was below 1.2. The code went to this site howsmyssl.com which returned the TLS value of our browser.



This morning our site was down because the data coming back from howsmyssl.com is "Err 0 The website calling howsmyssl.com's API has been making many calls and does not have a subscription. See https://subscriptions.howsmyssl.com/signup for how to get one."



 Now we're removing the code to check for TLS. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there an alternative site to get TLS information?
