JS getMessage(), but no results

Hey All,

Wandering through some documentation and I found this gem RightNow.Interface.getMessage() but when I dashed onto our CP's console and tried to pull a few messages it returned an empty string. Tried with a few different custom message base and non-custom message bases but all the same. I'm guessing since there is also a getConfig, these are disabled only to be used on the BUI or something, anyone have any idea?
