Message Count in Tab

We use the row count feature that allows you to put the number of incidents in the tab of a workspace.  This is really handy for agents eyeballing a contact to see how many incidents are attached.

I was wondering if this the same is possible for the messages tab within workspaces?  I know this is quite different as there is no way to count the number of replies within a message thread in the same way as per the number of incidents in the incident contact report.  

For clarity, please see the image attached that shows the Incident Count on the tab and then the Message tab where I'd want to see a count.
