Issue: Workspace freezing because of custom field

Hello,
we have 2 custom fields for email 1 and email 2 (instead of standard email field) in contact object. we placed them in incident workspace, when we add contact from incident workspace, always workspace is freezing, i deep dig into this issue and found these 2 fields are causing issue. these 2 are the custom email type fields. if i remove these 2 fields then incident workspace not freezing, if i place them again freezing. i did not understanding what is causing issue. Please help.
Applicaiton version Novemner 2016.
