Unable to search by Answer ID - Access is denied

Hi All,

We are having issues when searching our knowledge base using the answer ID.  The error that comes up is "Access Denied - You do not have permission to view this record".  This is when searching from the Quick Search 'phrases' field. 

  • The Answer is in the status of "Internal" which is a custom label with a Public status.
  • The access level of the answer is set to "Everyone"
  • The config setting SRCH_ANS_ID is set to "Yes".
  • Privileged access is not enabled (we do not use it at the moment).

When searching an answer ID in the "Public" status, it comes up with "No items to show" and does not produce an error.
