Reports embedded in Report Control of Incident workspace not working

   We have 2 reports (1 retrieves resolved incidents recently and other shows most popular answers) and doesnt have run time filters. We added these reports to Incident workspace in Report Control. We are able to run the reports in Analytics explorer but not under the Incident Workspace. 

I toggled the options under Report Options like Delay execution and other options but nothing works. I am of the opinion that the report must use Run time filter to take value from Workspace.....Any ideas ?
