Data Import Wizard: Restrict access to default Data Record Type?

Hi, 

I am wondering if it possible to restrict the access to the default set of data record types available for data import once access is given to profile to data import? We have the requirement to create a user profile that can perform data imports, but only for a certain type of object (contact and its related custom objects). However, once I give access to import data all data record types become instantly available for data import regardless whether the user profile actually has access to these or not. For example the user has no access to assets still assets becomes
