Knowledge Advanced In configuring Console Roles - some mystery references

I'm reviewing Console Role security privileges set in our Knowledge Advanced 16.5 SP1 environment.  Some selections have been around for a long time but I've had no idea exactly what they mean and what tasks and processes are affected.

I started with the documentation may2016_Knowledge_Advanced_Users_Guide and may2016_Knowledge_Advanced_Configuration but left me with questions:

What is Content Discussion?  Where would I go to delete/modify/view it? Example?
