After reading some posts that have been circulating here and on other media, I decided to try and optimize a script formula, but I'm not getting expected results.

We have a script that takes a prior version of our last month's actuals and loads them to a "holder" member so that we can then import current actuals and do a variance comparison. The idea is that we copy the actuals that are currently loaded to the "holder" member, and then clear out the current actuals and import the new actuals. Initially, we were doing this with a data copy, but after reading a few posts, we came up with an idea that we expected, based on the posts, would be faster. However, the performance is actually MUCH slower
