Knowldge Foundation : SearchContent API filter issues

Hello,
Please help me if anyone has ever worked on SearchContent APIfrom Knowledge Foundation.
I am not sure how KF API behaves from SOAP UI or the behaviour which I am seeing is correct or not So Please share your experience.
SearchContent API need search keyword and whenever I am Passing keyword dn search from SOAP UI , I get 6 answers and then If I am passing filter as product / Category with each at a time or both at the same time , there is no difference in the results.
But at the same time when I am searching the answers from Search Knowledgebase Report by passing Product/Category each at a time or both at the same time , there is a difference in the results like I see 5 results.
