Definition of View Answer in Visit Activity Report

We are using Visit Activity report (ID46) to monitor the usage of our knowledge interface.

I am struggling with the results shown as count for the activity “View Answer”. I would assume that this reflects the total amount of visitors to our knowledge interface which viewed an answer. The reason why I am in doubt is that the standard landing page is because the average search amount is below 10% of the visitors but the reported view answer is on average 90%.

The values shown for search, search&Answer, Submit question are making sense.

 

Could it be that search bots are counted when crawling an answer?
