Date/Time Response Thread Added to an Incident

I have a request to add a Last Contact field to reflect the last time any Response thread entry was added to the case, regardless whether it was Send on Save was checked or not. I'm looking for a way to either populate this Last Contact field or a way to display this on Incident reports. Any ideas?
