Preventing Duplicate Contacts From Being Entered by Reps.

After finally figuring out a reporting system, and the import wizard I am able to help clean up our duplicate contact issue.

Rather than keep applying the band-aid, I am trying to find a fix to the issue at hand.

Training is first and foremost in my mind. We implemented OSC and just ran with it. As such our contacts are non standardized, and overall messy. This is low hanging fruit that will obviously help.

The icon showing a duplicate email is OK, but can be skipped over by entering [email protected] for example. As such we now have several thousand contacts with that email address. They might have called in later, and gave us their address which again, leads us to duplication.
